In order for you to truly get the most out of your time with a psychologist, a trusting relationship is essential. It can be intimidating for you and your child to work with and open up to someone you’ve never met before. Sharing your experiences, struggles, and needs can be overwhelming, but it is my priority to make you and your child feel comfortable and safe as we navigate through this process together. In order to do that, let me tell you a little about myself.

I was born and raised in Tampa, and am a product of the Hillsborough County Public School System. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida, and my masters and doctorate degrees in school psychology from the University of Florida. I completed an internship specializing in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities at Childrens’ Hospital Los Angeles and a fellowship at the Center for Development and Learning at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. My area of specialization is in the early childhood and pediatric psychology populations, as well as neurodevelopment disorders. I have extensive training in assessment, consultation, and therapeutic interventions for children as young as toddlers to those entering college. I have had a wide range of experiences and in various settings including schools, university clinics, residential treatment facilities, and private practice. This has enabled me to see children and adolescents in the variety of environments in which they learn and grow, and will hopefully allow me to meet the specific needs of you and your child.

Above all of that, I am a mother first and foremost. My family is my priority, which helps me to better understand the perspective of the families with whom I work. All of that said, thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little, and I truly look forward to the opportunity to get to know you and your child better.
